I haven't posted anything in a while. So, yeah, tiny update.

School's been busy. Not a whole lot to really comment on, there.

For Halloween, we're actually a group. Somewhat. So that's cool. Never had it work out where we actually decided on a sort of theme for our costumes before. Hurray for that.

I haven't updated this in a long while, so let's do a quick, short update on things.

School's been busy; had a couple classes that have gotten progressively harder and all that fun stuff.

I've got an actual little group for Halloween this year. Some of us are doing a group costume type of thing, which is cool for me because I've never done a group thing like that before. Fun stuff~

Just, hey guys, I'm still around.

Just a general update.

My past journal entry was this grand plan that has fallen through and will still happen eventually, albeit differently. This is more of a side-note to this entry than anything else, though.

A few weeks ago, we found out we had to move out of my dad's place. Last week was spent juggling finals and packing up the house. Now that finals are done with, I feel like I have free time again, however this isn't the case at all because we're still busy moving everything in. The only reason I have the time to write up this entry at the moment is because I have just about all my things gathered in my new room and am waiting on some help to put up a rod in the closet so I can hang clothes and figure out what else will fit in the closet afterward.

This is mainly to say that if I'm not around, it's because I'm busy with the task of trying to get settled into a new place.

THE BASICS: write a Christmas/Holiday wish list. It can be any 10 wishes you'd like to have granted, no matter what they are. Possible or seemingly impossible. People look and grant the wishes if they can. It's not about "OMFG PRESENTS", it's about making someone else's holiday a little brighter by giving. Personally, I get more out of giving than receiving sometimes. It's just a good feeling to give.

ONWARD!

STEP ONE

** Make a post in your journal. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

** If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.

** Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your journal, so that others can join in and participate to spread the holiday joy!


STEP TWO

** Surf around your friend list to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

** If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

** You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

My list:

1.) Friends and family to have a good holiday season.

2.) A real tree to decorate; dunno if that'll happen this year or not.

3.) Aviator sunglasses.

4.) To know what to draw for everyone so they actually like their drawings.

5.) To see some family members who I haven't seen in a while.

6) The motivation to not stop writing my stories half-way through.

7) Color contacts, though that's pretty much a no-go because of my prescription.

8) A job, because I could really, really use one about now.

9) Maybe to make some new friends? Or have the time/good connection to talk to my online buddies more often than I have been, recently. ONLINE BUDDIES, I MISS TALKING TO YOU GUYS. I AM SORRY I HAVEN'T BEEN AROUND A WHOLE LOT.

10) Uhm. I am not sure, here. Maybe... I really don't know. I just want people to have a good holiday season.
